Metal on a sloped Columbus shop and metal on a Dundee bungalow are different quotes. We will say if the building is our job. We will not sell standing seam like it is a thicker shingle.

Open-lot shops along I-80 and the Platte corridor take ice and wind. Exposed-fastener panels are common. Standing seam is cleaner and costs more. Residential metal in Omaha is a look-and-longevity choice, and cosmetic hail dents are a policy conversation — some carriers treat a dented panel as damage, some do not.
What we take
- Simple sloped shop roofs in Columbus, Grand Island, and Kearney — fasteners, flashing, ridge.
- Residential metal when the house and the access make sense. Ask with photos.
- Not a default yes on large low-slope commercial membranes. That is a different trade.
Metal prices well above asphalt. The cost guide is an asphalt market page on purpose. If you want metal, say so on the inspection and we will write that system, not hide it inside a shingle number.
